A Touch of Elegance and a Sprinkle of Art – The Ingredients of an Insta-Worthy Custom Wine Cellar Design in Tampa

Custom Wine Cellars Tampa is one of the most trusted wine cellar specialists in Tampa that has helped countless wine enthusiasts by building beautifully designed wine storage structures. In over a decade of designing wine cellars, this recent one we completed is most certainly our favorite!

Our client in this project is a couple that owned a luxurious house in Tampa. They got in touch with our team because they needed a safe home for their wine collection of over 14,000 bottles. These select vinos were collected from their numerous travels all over the country and abroad. The client wanted us to construct wine cellar that not only could accommodate the mammoth collection but also complement the sophisticated design of their home.

The couple decided to have the wine room built adjacent to their dining and wine-tasting area, which is a huge space with a giant flat-screen TV and elegant chairs to cater to their guests. Beside this area was where the couple kept and displayed their deluxe car collection. Understanding these spaces that surround the wine cellar, we had to create a unique design that would match the extravagance of its surroundings.

Boost a Wine Cellar’s Aesthetic Value with a Combination of Custom Racking Systems

The top wine cellar designs in Tampa are those that utilize a variety of wine-racking styles. In the construction project in Tampa, our team installed a combination of wine racks to achieve a truly unique design.

Wine Cellar Specialists in Tampa, Installs Wine Racks with Three Dazzling Waterfall Displays

The most eye-catching feature in this residential wine cellar is the stunning waterfall displays that descend from the back wall down to the center of the room. Our team of wine cellar specialists in Tampa installed three units of waterfall wine racks. We set these units side by side each other, facing the cellar entryway. The middle waterfall racking unit is the longest among the three.

All of the three units of waterfall racks end on a tabletop at the center of the wine cellar. This tabletop has multiple purposes, which include providing a space for decanting and tasting wines. Below the tabletop, we installed additional bottle storage. Our team added a tier of half-round racks with three shelves. In between each of the waterfall units, we also added an arch with a tabletop.

Our team installed a high display row on each side of every single waterfall wine rack unit. The display rows kept the wine bottles tilted at an angle so that the corks are consistently moist. We also added wooden case storage bins on the side of each unit. These wooden case storage bins are necessary for storing large-format bottles in bulk.

There were other kinds of racking styles that we installed on the back wall of this wine cellar in Tampa, including standard individual racks, horizontal display racks, display rows, and diamond bins.

Gorgeous Racking Systems on the Left and Right Walls of this Luxury Wine Cellar

The left and right walls of this grand wine cellar in Tampa were installed with horizontal display rows on its top section. Across the middle sections of the walls, we installed a display row. Then, on their bottom sections, we added diamond bins. The wine racks and their configuration were almost the same on both the left and right walls. The difference is that on the bottom section of the left wall, our builders added wooden case storage, while there was none on the right wall.

Our team of wine cellar specialists in Tampa installed quarter-round display racks at the end of the left and right walls. These racks stored wine bottles vertically. The client can also choose to store their wine cellar accessories on the quarter-round racks.

Our Wine Cellar Specialists in Tampa, Add More Interesting Features to this Lavishly Beautiful Residential Wine Room

Because of the staggering number of bottles in the client’s wine collection, it was our goal to make sure that they had easy access to all their wines, especially those that are at the top racks and the hard-to-reach places. Our team added a hook ladder that can be removed from the rail and transferred to another wall.

Our wine cellar specialists installed a beautiful glass door in this lush wine room. The glass was properly insulated to make sure that the storage room is tightly sealed. With this glass door, the client’s guests hanging out at the dining or wine-tasting area can view the extravagant wine collection from outside the cellar.
